Washington Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a program that enables boys and girls, men and women 4 years old and up, with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to play soccer. Washington Youth Soccer supports the program, designed and administered by US YOUTH SOCCER. It provides meaningful learning, development and participation opportunities to these players. TOPSoccer was formed to perpetuate the US YOUTH SOCCER mission statement, which is, "to foster the physical, mental, and emotional growth and development through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition." Our goal is to enable people with disabilities to develop their physical fitness, technical skills and self-esteem, through the joy and excitement of playing soccer.

TOPSoccer is not geared towards any specific type of disability. There are varied types of participation to meet the needs of any child that wishes to participate.

Maple Valley Soccer Association will be hosting a TOPSoccer program in the fall of 2011.

There are two needs: participants and volunteer "Buddy's" to help coach and supervise the players. If you know of a potential participant that fits into the program, ages 4 and up, please let their family know about our upcoming session. If you have a soccer player, or know of a soccer player, ages 15 and up, please let them know about the opportunity to serve their community and share the great game of soccer and become a "Buddy".
